BBC’s revival of classic game show Blankety Blank has future confirmed
The BBC has confirmed the future of the Blankety Blank revival.
Bradley Walsh will be returning for two more series of the gameshow, where a panel of celebrities try to help four contestants win a slate of unusual prizes.
All the contestants have to do to win is match the celebrities' answers to fill in the missing Blanks — but that's always easier said than done! The format is based on the US series Match Game.
Bradley said of the renewal: "I tell you what, there isn’t a show quite like Blankety Blank – it’s absolutely brilliant fun from start to finish. The celebrities will come up to me after a record and tell me how much fun they had filming, but more importantly, so do the contestants.
"These wonderful people come on to the show wanting a great experience and, boy, do they get it – because let’s be honest, they’re not there for the prizes are they?!”

"It’s been a huge privilege to be part of the team in charge of bringing Blankety Blank to new audiences," producer Charlie Irwin said. "We are thrilled with how it's been received and are so excited to make more for the BBC. We genuinely love this show and filming it is an absolute joy."
The BBC has confirmed 10 episodes for each of the two new series, and potential contestants can sign up to appear on the new Blankety Blank by clicking here.
The BBC brought the show back in 2020 for a Christmas special, where Bradley welcomed guests including Jimmy Carr and Sue Perkins.
A full-scale revival followed for three more subsequent seasons, with the most recent festive episode featuring legendary actor Brian Blessed, former Strictly star AJ Odudu, comedians Katherine Ryan and Rob Beckett, chef Ainsley Harriott and reality TV icon Gemma Collins.

The original Blankety Blank aired between 1979 and 1990, before being rebooted in 1997 with Paul O'Grady — hosting as drag alter-ego Lily Savage. David Walliams also presented a one-off Christmas special in 2016.
Blankety Blank will be returning to BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
