The BBC has unveiled the first look at Michelle Keegan filming the returning series Ten Pound Poms.

The Fool Me Once star resumed production on the period drama in February in Australia, alongside co-stars Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones) and Warren Brown (Hollyoaks). Now, fans are getting a behind-the-scenes peek at the new episodes in four set photos.

Ten Pound Poms is inspired by the true events of Britons moving to Australia and New Zealand in the post-World War II era for the promise of a better life.

However, once they arrived in Oz, these Britons — known colloquially as the Poms — found a hard-scrabble life that wasn't anything like they expected.

In the second season, the Poms welcome a new family from Ireland and must deal with a cunning landlord who is out to take advantage of them.

The series is executive produced and created by Danny Brocklehurst, whom Keegan recently worked with on Fool Me Once and has also collaborated with her on Brassic.

When Ten Pound Poms was renewed earlier this year, the writer said: "The positive viewer response to Ten Pound Poms was a true delight.

"We tapped into a little-known part of our recent history and told stories which reflected the realities of the real Poms that made the trip.
