BBC Morning Live host Rav Wilding has revealed that he split from his wife last year.

The police officer and solider turned television presenter started dating Loose Women producer Jill Morgan in 2012. They tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed a daughter together in 2020.

On his Instagram Stories, Wilding wrote: "For those asking questions... Myself and [Jill] amicably separated last year. Our focus is on co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter."

Before his relationship with Morgan, the presenter had been romantically linked to TV personality Chantelle Houghton, who was famously a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.

Meanwhile, Wilding has spoken openly in recent years about living with dyslexia and dyspraxia, and in a segment on Morning Live, he was also diagnosed with autism.

In a film shown on the breakfast programme, Wilding said: "I've always felt unique. I could name every muscle or bone in the human body, and most doctors can't even do that after their medical training.

"I have to go the gym at exactly the same time every time I go. A lot of people will probably find that a little bit different."

In the studio, as his film was screened, co-host Gethin Jones told him that viewers had praised him for helping normalise later-in-life diagnosis.

Reacting to the film being shown, Wilding said: "Now it's like I understand why, and Christine McGuinness (who was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in 2021), who I reached out to, to make that film, and she's been such a great help, she actually said it will help you understand yourself better. I couldn't make those words any better. That's exactly what happened."

Morning Live airs on BBC One every weekday morning from 9.30am, and streams on BBC iPlayer.
