Bayern Munich's Bouna Sarr had a first training session with the ball on Thursday in his comeback from a severe knee injury, while Kingsley Coman and Sacha Boey are closer to returning to action.

Full back Sarr ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee three months ago. He started running at Bayern's training centre last month before now taking the next step with ball drills, Munich said.

Winger Coman meanwhile is closer to returning to team training but for now continued individual exercises with the ball. The Frenchman suffered a medial collateral ligament tear in his left knee in late January.

Sacha Boey returned to team traning the previous day from a hamstring injury sustained last month. The full back took part in a session for players not used in Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League win against Italy's Lazio which saw Bayern reach the quarter-finals.
