Bay Area Burger Co. temporarily closing due to staffing shortages

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A food truck turned restaurant has opted to temporarily close its restaurant doors due to a lack of staff.

Bay Area Burger Co. has been a hit in the Green Bay community, but restaurant officials say they’ll be temporarily closing until they can hire enough staff to continue operating.

In a Facebook post, Bay Area Burger Co. says it has been hanging on by the edge for a while now, and this has affected its quality. Bay Area Burger Co. is searching for cooks, servers, and bartenders.

“I’m hoping this won’t be long to get staffed up, but in this market, you never know,” said restaurant officials.

The food truck will continue operations and will be at the first farmers market on Wednesday.

“Come get your burger fix on and support the small businesses out here grinding,” concluded the statement.
