Bavarian minister assumes Islamist background to Wuerzburg, Ansbach attacks

MUNICH (Reuters) - Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said on Tuesday that authorities assumed that there was an Islamist background to both the ax attack in Wuerzburg last week and the bombing in Ansbach on Sunday. "We assume that in both Wuerzburg and Ansbach there is an Islamist background that is to be taken very seriously," he said.
