One woman hurt after stray bullet in Baton Rouge shooting hit her home
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A 51-year-old woman was shot in the back a little after 1 a.m. on Monday, April 22, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
BRPD said the shooting happened in the 1900 block of Bradfield Avenue and a stray bullet hit her.
Emergency medical service officials confirmed they took one person to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the call is believed to be connected to a shooting that occurred at a Kangaroo Express gas station in the 12300 block of Scotland Avenue. One man died.
Three shootings occurred over a few hours overnight in Baton Rouge.
