Baton Rouge police ask for help solving 2020 shooting that left man dead

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking for help in solving a deadly shooting that happened in 2020.

Police said they responded to a shooting in the 800 block of South Flannery Road on Aug. 5, 2020. At the scene, officers found Loston Tiner Jr., 21, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said Tiner was pronounced dead at the scene. BRPD is still looking for a motive and suspects in connection with the shooting.
