BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Several Baton Rouge pizza restaurants will be offering discounts and specials throughout the day on Thursday, March 14 in celebration of Pi Day.

According to History.com, Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. “The numerical date (3.14) represents the first three digits of pi.”

Pizza lovers will be able a variety of discounts throughout the day on Thursday, with some restaurants offering $3.14 per pizza or $3.14 off on a selection of pizzas.

Rocca Pizzeria

Rocca Pizzeria will be offering half-off deals on the following pizzas including pepperoni, classic cheese, four cheese and margherita from 2-6 p.m. Thursday.

Reginelli’s Pizzeria

On Thursday, March 14, Reginelli’s Pizzeria will offer $3.14 small cheese pizzas.

  • Location: 684 Jefferson Hwy.

Red Zeppelin Pizza

Red Zeppelin Pizza in Baton Rouge will be providing a 14″ cheese pizza from 3-6 p.m. In addition to that offer, the restaurant features $8 and $11 pitchers throughout the day Thursday.

LIT Pizza (4 locations)

To celebrate Pi Day, LIT Pizza’s offer will include a two-topping 11″ pizza on regular crust for $3.14.

Johnny’s Pizza House (2 locations)

Johnny’s Pizza House will offer $3.14 off large 14-inch pizzas on its menu on Thursday.

Customers who purchase a pizza from Jabby’s Pizza on Thursday, March 14, will receive a free cookie in celebration of Pi Day.
