Baton Rouge bar fight suspect wants to leave Louisiana for work in Mississippi
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The man accused of manslaughter after a bar fight in Baton Rouge filed a motion Monday in the parish court to request permission to leave the state.
According to court documents, Matthew Marsiglia, 21, requested to leave the state to work as a ranch hand for a family member in Magnolia, Mississippi after he was suspended from Louisiana State University following his arrest.

Marsiglia was arrested and charged with manslaughter on April 3 in connection to a March 23 bar fight at Fred’s Bar and Grill. Police identified the victim as Devin Repath, 26.
Marsiglia’s bond was set at $50,000, court documents stated.
