BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates around Basking Ridge.

Cases and Vaccinations

The Somerset County Health Department has reported 65 new COVID-19 cases in Bernards Township this past week. Officials have reported 970 cases and 47 coronavirus deaths in Bernards Township since the pandemic began.

Officials have reported 15,305 total cases and 639 coronavirus deaths in Somerset County to date.

The Bernards Township School District updates its COVID-19 dashboard daily.

The New Jersey Department of Health has tallied 25,327 vaccine doses administered in Somerset County — an increase of 8,451 in the past week. The county has an estimated population of 328,934, and both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require two doses per person.
