Basement fire in DC displaces 2 adults, 2 kids, several pets

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Two adults, two children and several pets were displaced after a fire broke out in the basement of a home in Northeast D.C. Friday evening.

DC Fire EMS said the fire started in the basement of a 2-story home in the 3400 block of 15th St.

Crews were able to put out the fire and nobody was injured.
