Barclays Group Africa flags H1 earnings to rise 8-11 pct

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Barclays Africa Group said on Thursday it sees first-half rising by as much as 11 percent above the restated 655.7 cents per share it posted a year ago. Barclays will report its earnings for the six months to end-June on July 30. Its shares extended losses after the announcement, dropping more than 2 percent to 160 rand.
