Barack Obama's March Madness picks are here, and people have THOUGHTS

Barack Obama has filled out his brackets, people, which means March Madness may now officially begin.

On Wednesday, the former POTUS, basketball fan, and Cool Dad of America™ carried out the very important tradition of sharing his NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament brackets to his 101 million Twitter followers.

"Just because I have more time to watch games doesn't mean my picks will be better," Obama joked, probably recalling last year's brackets, which were ruthlessly dissected and mocked by the good sports people of the internet.

For the men's tournament, Obama has No. 1 Virginia, No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Michigan State, and No. 1 Villanova in his Final Four. It's not all too unsurprising, but then he went with the upset of Michigan State over Virginia in the championship game (probably his midwest roots coming through.) For the women's tournament, he's picking perennial powerhouse UConn over Mississippi St. for the title. Louisville and Notre Dame are his other two teams in the Final Four.

Though Obama was beloved by many for his time in office, he is notoriously awful at assembling winning brackets. As usual, Twitter users were quick to roast his picks.

"As we gear up for March Madness, the Obama Foundation is celebrating the role of sports in bringing communities together," Obama's foundation shared on its website.

In addition to the brackets The Obama Foundation also shared several positive stories about how basketball making a difference in communities across across the world.

Though Obama did receive some criticism for his picks, many people replied to his tweet with positive messages, letting him know how much he's missed and joking that no matter how bad his brackets are, Trump's are probably worse.
