Banker attacked during pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong

The banker, who was reportedly an employee of JPMorgan Chase, had been filming or taking pictures of protesters, according to local media reports.

In a video obtained by Reuters, he shouted "We are all Chinese" in Mandarin before a protester clad in black hit him repeatedly.

Jeers of "go back to the mainland" could be heard amongst the crowd as he walked back into Chater House, where JPMorgan has its main office.

Pro-democracy protests have plunged Hong Kong into its worst political crisis in decades, with more demonstrations expected to take place.
