Baltimore Police: Man critically wounded in downtown shooting Saturday

Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Baltimore on Saturday that landed one adult man in the hospital in critical condition, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Officers from the Central District were called to the 200 block of Marion Street around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, where they found an unresponsive man with gunshot wounds.

First responders transported him to an area hospital, according to police.

Homicide detectives were notified due to the severe nature of the victim’s injuries, the release said.
