Ballsy new 'Baywatch' poster is trying way too hard

In case you wondered what the new Baywatch movie will be about, look no further than the poster. 

Unveiled Monday via Dwayne Johnson's Instagram account, the painfully obvious phallic poster informs us that yes, there will be dick jokes. They've already begun.

Because the climate is right for a good ol' RATED R rescue can and beach balls shaped in the form of a penis and testicles joke. In case the point of this seaside structure wasn't clear enough, Johnson's caption helpfully explained that it's depicting a penis and testicles. He also revealed that in the Baywatch universe, size does matter, so we can look forward to that dick joke sub-genre.

Efron shared the poster a couple hours later with the caption "It's a hard job, but we're the pair that can get it done." He did not offer further comment on the size of the beach balls.

Like most things, this poster is not a picture of Priyanka Chopra, and therefore fails by default to maximize its potential in this world. Baywatch also stars Chopra, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and original TV series star David Hasselhoff.

Baywatch is in theaters May 26.
