Baldwin County uniforms, free lunch to be voted on at next school board meeting

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Baldwin County School Board is expected to vote on two proposals at its next meeting — school uniforms and free lunch.

According to officials with the school system, the uniform policy would affect elementary school students and would be changed from a “uniform” policy to a “dress code” policy.

The school board is also expected to vote on students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Officials said it will be similar to what was seen during COVID.

“There will be plenty more communication on this as we get into the next couple of months,” a statement from the school system said. “We know this information is being spread but final details will be released by the district and the schools.”
