Baldwin County officials: Upcoming road closure on County Road 68
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Baldwin County officials announced an upcoming road closure affecting parts of County Road 68 while drainage work occurs.

According to a press release, a portion of County Road 68 between County Road 55 and Frito Lay Road will be impassable to through traffic beginning at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17.
The road closure is in place due to drainage improvements, according to the release. Drivers will still be able to use County Road 68 during the early morning hours during the road closure.
During the closure, motorists are encouraged to use the suggested detour route.

Officials said that although dates are provided for the closure, weather delays may prolong the impasse dates.
