Some Bakersfield College students to receive free groceries at Renegade Nexus Pantry

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield College’s Renegade Nexus and Pantry will hold its next farmers market offering free groceries to students and the community on March 19.

The Renegade Nexus will give students and members of the community free fruits and vegetables in addition to other food and hygiene products. Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable grocery bags and to arrive early, organizers said.

Parking will be available in the P8 parking lot on University Ave. (the student parking between the free parking lot and the football fields).

B.C. also has an on-campus pantry open to all students Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The college is located at 1801 Panorama Dr.
