Some Bake Off fans prefer new team to Mary, Mel and Sue

After all the channel-hopping drama and presenter shake-ups, The Great British Bake Off finally unveiled its new-look presenting team on Channel 4 tonight (August 29).

Gone were the comforting familiar faces of yesteryear (well, aside from Paul Hollywood), and taking their place in the tent were new presenting double act Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig as well as judge (and de facto Mary Berry replacement) Prue Leith.

Channel 4 wasn't subtle in pushing this revamp as being just as warm and comfy as the Mary Berry years, having started off the hour with Paul Hollywood talking up new judge Prue Leith's 50 years of experience directly to camera.

Whether or not Channel 4's big-money gamble actually paid off is ultimately up to the fans, so let's check in with them to see how they're adapting to all of this confectionary change:
