Drag queen Baga Chipz says she'd be a 'laughing stock' on 'Strictly Come Dancing'

RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz has revealed she'd love to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing, but said she'd probably be a "laughing stock" due to her dancing abilities.

The 31-year-old Londoner, who won plaudits for her Margaret Thatcher impression on the reality show, told The Sun she'd be more enthusiastic than enthralling if she made it to the ballroom.

Rumours have suggested the BBC stalwart is eyeing up a drag contestant this year, with Drag Race judge Michelle Visage competing in 2019 and queen Courtney Act finishing as a runner-up on the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars.

"I would do it but I probably would be the laughing stock of the show," Baga admitted.

“At the end of the day, like everything I do, I'd give it my all. I think it would be marvellous, me coming down from the sky, or me coming out in a big box of chips.

“I could do Under the Sea with all the fish. I'd be like the Little Mermaid but I'd eat the fish instead of talking to them.

“But when it comes to full choreography and full routines, I'm no Pussycat Doll, I'm more of a Nolan sister.”

Baga did hint that she has already signed up for a major show of some sort, saying it will "probably be the biggest show of my life".

She also revealed that she had been rejected from Dancing On Ice for being "too unfit", admitting she was "like Bambi" when she got on to the ice.

"They told me I needed to pass a fitness test and when I went on the ice I fell flat on my a*** and I couldn't even stand up," Baga said.

Baga finished in third place on the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019, behind winner The Vivienne and runner-up Divina De Campo.

She has since appeared on shows including Celebrity Masterchef and the celebrity version of The Circle, in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.
