The Backyard honored with Rising Star Award

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Roane State Community College have presented the TSBDC Rising Star Award to the owners of The Backyard at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce.

"SBDC Day is a national, collective proclamation of the impact America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) have on the success of our nation’s dreamers, innovators, and doers — America’s small businesses," an official email stated defining the event. The sixth annual SBDC Day was Wednesday, March 16.

The Backyard is a locally owned and operated beer garden and dog park in Oak Ridge.
