Backstreet Boys fans hate-tweet 'GMA' for interrupting performance for Trump press conference

Hell hath no fury like a Backstreet Boys fan scorned.

Backstreet Boys fans across the country woke up Friday morning to watch the boy band perform on Good Morning America, and just when they were hitting the high notes for their biggest hit, “I Want It That Way,” something happened. The feed cut to an ABC special report presenting President Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May’s live press conference.

Shockingly, that didn’t entertain the Backstreet Boys fans. They turned to Twitter to vent their considerable anger, many marking their tweets with #BACKSTREETBOYSonGMA.

This fan sent an all-caps warning to ABC News.

Twitter user Sara unleashed her wrath.

To which the creatively named @Spookybutts1 gave an equally creative response.

Other got creative as well, making their own BSB parody lyric.

This day may go down in infamy, if Marc Halem’s prophetic tweet has anything to do with it.

The lesson here is, don’t mess with a boy band fan.
