B.J. Novak doesn't like Casey Affleck either

The final minutes of the 2017 Oscars were an unbridled, unmitigated, unimaginable disaster. If that sounds dramatic, it's because it is.

(It's Hollywood, how else am I gonna talk about it if not with flair?)

B.J. Novak, Hollywood as he may be, does not normally share a penchant for drama — so he went with a simple, direct and poignant approach to the Best Picture disaster.

This is what he tweeted out after the debacle unfolded live:

If you'll remember, the award for Best Actor went to Casey Affleck for his role in Manchester by the Sea. Affleck has come under intense, but not widespread, scrutiny for allegations of sexual harassment.

Affleck settled the case made against him out of court for an undisclosed amount of money.

A lot of people were rooting for Denzel Washington, nominated for his role in the adaptation of August Wilson's classic play Fences

Audience members at the event weren't outwardly pleased by his win, either.

Even Brie Larson, designated to present the trophy after winning Best Actress at the 2016 awards, quietly disapproved of Affleck's win

B.J. certainly stands out as being one of the most outward opponents of Casey's win, in six words no less.
