Ayo Edebiri's new movie debuts with 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating

The Bear star Ayo Edebiri's new movie Omni Loop has debuted with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Directed by Bernardo Britto, the sci-fi drama follows a woman from Miami who "decides to solve time travel in order to go back and be the person she always intended to".

Fresh from her success in last year's comedy Bottoms, Edebiri stars in Omni Loop alongside The Bear co-star Chris Witaske, Seinfeld's Carlos Jacott, CSI: NY star Eddie Cahill and Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker.

Omni Loop premiered at SXSW on March 13, landing the highest possible score on the review aggregator site (at the time of writing) from six reviews.

The first reviews have highly praised Britto's "grounded" directorial approach, as well as the comedic chemistry between Edebiri and Parker.

Omni Loop doesn't have a release date yet. The Bear seasons one and two are available to stream on Disney+, with a third expected to premiere this June.
