This awkward TV kiss will make you want to curl up and die

Dating shows are full of deliciously awkward moments, and that's why we can't get enough.

A recent episode of Australia's Married At First Sight (yes, it's a real show in which people get married...at first sight) served up a classic example.

Let's set the scene: The date between Cheryl and Andrew takes place on a picturesque beach (rather nice), but the moment is hampered by a corny AF guitar serenade from Andrew, which we all know is a terrible omen on any date.

We won't ruin the rest of it. You'll just have to watch.

Thinking she's swooning thanks to his slightly off-key song, Andrew pulled — and we really mean pulled — Cheryl over for a kiss, even though she's not into it at all.

"I don't want to kiss you," Cheryl said, after pulling out of the three seconds of tongue mashing. Fair.

Andrew, crestfallen and with a bruised ego, is taken aback by the rejection. "Nah, that's f*cked," he said off-camera.

And folks, that's why you should just remain single forever. Or you know, learn how to recognise when people are not that into you.
