Up, Up and Away! Princess Kate and Prince William Jet to Vancouver on a Sea Plane

Less than one day after landing in Canada, Prince William and Princess Kate are on the move again.

The royal couple departed from Victoria, Canada, on Sunday morning by taking a seaplane from the Victoria Harbor to their next destination – Vancouver, which is about 70 miles north of the capital of British Colombia. Once in Vancouver, Will and Kate will meet with dignitaries from the city before moving on to a series of engagements.

Kate wore a red and white Alexander McQueen dress which she paired with birght red heels and a matching clutch. William kept things classic in a black suit.

The couple are slated to visit Sheway, a pregnancy outreach program located in downtown Vancouver. Sheway provides support to pregnant women and women with infants under 18 months who are dealing with drug and alcohol issues. The Cambridges have supported several charities that provide outreach to those who are dealing with addiction issues – particularly when those issues affect young people.

After visiting Sheway, the couple will visit the Immigrant Services Society, a charity that provides targeted programs for refugees as well as immigrants. While at the Immigrant Services Society, the couple is expected to meet with Syrian refugees who were relocated through the UNHCR, the United Nations' refugee agency.

Following a packed afternoon of charity visits, Will and Kate will attend a reception for young Canadian leaders and celebrities at the Telus Gardens. After the reception, they will head straight off to a Canadian Coast Guard and Vancouver First Responders event at the Kitsilano Coast Guard station in Vanier Park. This will be an especially important engagement for William who works as an air ambulance pilot in England. The couple is expected to see how the first responders help the people of Vancouver before making the ultimate exit – on a hovercraft!

Prince George and Princess Charlotte did not join Will and Kate for their short day-trip in Vancouver. The royal couple will reunited with their little ones on Sunday night when they return to their home base at Government House.

The royal foursome arrived in the country on Saturday to kick off their seven-day tour of western Canada. They were greeted on the tarmac by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie and were met with massive crowds in Victoria. They are slated to leave Canada on Oct. 1.
