Avelo Airlines to resume nonstop service to Los Angeles from Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Great news for the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) as Avelo Airlines announced on Thursday, April 11 that it would resume nonstop service from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles’ most popular airport, Burbank Airport (BUR), this spring.

After a brief but planned pause in January, the one-way fares between COS and BUR start at $90*, and flights between the two cities will officially resume on May 23, 2024.

“We are excited to kick off the summer travel season with the return of Avelo Airlines’ nonstop seasonal service to Los Angeles/Hollywood-Burbank,” said Greg Phillips, Director of Aviation for the Colorado Springs Airport. “This route will provide Colorado Springs travelers easy and convenient access to sunny beaches and the greater Los Angeles area from COS.”

Avelo will operate the route on Sundays and Thursdays and customers can book travel through September 1 at Aveloair.com.
