Autism awareness cars and truck show in OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The month of April is Autism Awareness month and a local car club is putting together a car and truck show to help raise awareness.
Devoid of hope, a local car club that formed through a group of friends over a month ago is hosting a car and truck show on April 27 in order to raise money and awareness for autism. The money raised from the event will be donated to the Autism Foundation of Oklahoma.
The event will be 5 dollars to enter the event and 5 dollars to enter for the “Multiple Peoples Choice” awards. A raffle will also be held at the end of the event.
Classic cars, trucks, bikes and other vehicle types are welcome and encouraged to join in the event. The show will be judged by kids to vote on the best looking vehicles and will hand out trophies to those that win.

Goodie bags filled with stickers, fidget toys and other treats will be handed out for the children once they first walk in. Food trucks and other vendors will also be present at the event along with live music, a DJ, and games.
The car and truck show will begin at 11 a.m and go until 5 p.m., located at the Crossroads mall in Oklahoma City.
