Augusta man, 37, killed in early morning shooting on Tudor Drive

An Augusta man is dead after a shooting early Wednesday at the intersection of Tudor and Carp drives.

Gregory Dunn, 37, of Augusta, was shot at least once and pronounced dead at the scene just before 1 a.m., according to a news release from the Richmond County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy is scheduled, according to the release.

Called Agnibaan SOrTeD (Sub-Orbital Technology Demonstrator), the single-stage launch vehicle lifted off Thursday morning local time from the startup's mobile launchpad at the Satish Dhawan Space Center on South India's Sriharikota island. Data from the test flight will contribute to the development of the startup's Agnibaan commercial orbital launch vehicle.
