Audi's upcoming A5 teased before global unveil on June 2

Audi has started teasing the A5 Coupe through a series of images on the web. The car is going to be globally revealed on June 2 this year.
The teasers give us a glimpse of how different the car is from its predecessor. The German carmaker has made the A5 coupe more aerodynamic than the A4 sedan. The fascia boasts of a huge single-frame hexagonal grille and new headlamps. These headlights are similar to the ones on the new-gen R8. We can expect the automaker to offer optional Matrix LED, Xenon and LED headlamps on the new car.
Since the Audi A5 is based on the A4’s MLB Evo platform, the new coupe will be 100kg lighter, meaning, having an improved efficiency and performance. The engine line-up will include four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines that will come mated to either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system can also be seen on the top-spec models.
Audi will take the wraps off the new A5 next month and will launch it in the global market. However, it might not be introduced to our Indian market. Instead, the A5 Sportback might be launched, which was recently spotted testing in our country.
