On Tuesday, Audacy gave an update about the event to Virginia Beach City Council. Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer requested an update from organizers. In December, the city pledged a $750,000 sponsorship agreement for the event.

From April 26 to April 28, Audacy will host three days of live music at the Oceanfront. Throughout the weekend, guests can expect performances from both national and local Hip-Hop and R&B artists and DJs.

Audacy shared two of the acts at the council meeting. Rappers Tee Grizzley and Academy Award winner, producer and rapper Juicy J will perform.

There will be opportunities for local up-and-coming artists, according to Audacy’s Shaun Buford.

“That’s what’s important for us,” Bufurd said. “To come out of the gate with our vision of Virginia’s own, grown, and known. We are responsible to show case for these artists for these known entities so we’re trying to cultivate from the bottom up so that when they have an opportunity to thrive that they’ll be remembering fondly in their hometown.”

The concerts will take place by Neptune and on the Boardwalk. The events are set to happen in the 17th and 24th Street Parks and on the sand at 31st Street. National acts will perform at the 31st Street Stage.

In addition to music, there will be food, beverages and beachfront activations.

Tickets will go on-sale Friday, March 15. Click here to find out more information.
