ATM stolen from business in Bridgeport

CHICAGO — An ATM machine was stolen from a currency exchange in the city’s Bridgeport neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to a currency exchange in the 2500 block of South Halsted Street and found the business with the front door shattered.

String of robberies spreads throughout Chicago on Tuesday

Investigation found that an ATM was taken from that location and that the offenders fled in a silver sedan.

There is currently no one in custody and police are investigating the incident.
