NEW YORK (PIX11) — Among the basketball powerhouses on Long Island is a hidden academic and athletic gem: Lawrence Woodmere Academy. But don’t take my word for it; ask their head of school, Hank Williams.
Williams knows firsthand. While in his first year as head coach, Coach Hank wrapped up his third season leading the Tigers’ basketball team. If that wasn’t enough, add Team Dad to the resume, as Hank Williams Jr. has played with the varsity team for the last two seasons.
