The Makeway View at Makeway Avenue was successfully acquired through an en block sale for $168 million, which includes development costs, projected at $21.26 million. A purchase of a property in the Core Central Region today is expected to increase in value in the future, making The Atelier appealing for capital gains.

The ten-storey building, consisting of 28 apartments and 4 penthouses, were originally developed in the late 1980s. They are situated in the prime District 09. Bukit Sembawang plans to develop the site into residential apartments which feature communal facilities. The Atelier condo will require approval by respective authorities, but plans call for development to a 21 or 22 storey apartment building which features 154 units with an average size of 70 sqm.
