An astrology influencer who allegedly killed her partner, her infant daughter, and then herself on the morning of the total solar eclipse had written “THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE” in a concerning social media post days before the murders.

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a press release that Danielle Johnson had also written online about the total solar eclipse leading to “spiritual warfare” before she stabbed her partner to death and later threw her two daughters from a moving car on a Los Angeles-area freeway, killing her youngest 8-month-old child and injuring her 9-year-old daughter.

After throwing her children from the moving vehicle, Johnson, 34, then drove her Porsche SUV into a tree in Redondo Beach going more than 100 mph, killing herself in the crash.

“WAKE UP WAKE UP THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE,” Johnson wrote in an all-caps post on April 5, according to The Associated Press, three days before the murders. “EVERYONE WHO HAS EARS LISTEN. YOUR TIME TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOW.”

Johnson's 8-month-old daughter “was pronounced deceased at scene” after authorities responded to the scene where she threw her children from her moving car, according to the LAPD. Her 9-year-old daughter “sustained moderate injuries from the fall” and was taken to the hospital.

Police added that “Johnson did not survive the crash and was the sole occupant of the vehicle" when she crashed her SUV into a tree.

LAPD says earlier in the day, around 3:40 a.m. local time, Johnson allegedly also stabbed her partner Jaelen Chaney to death at their apartment in Woodland Hills. Johnson and Chaney, 29, “became involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into Johnson becoming violent, stabbing Chaney, who succumbed to his injuries at scene,” police said.

Chaney’s family said in a GoFundMe fundraiser that the father was “a proud member of the U.S. Air Force” and “a special part of our family.”

The AP and The Los Angeles Times had reported that Johnson used social media to present herself as an astrologer and offered a variety of services on her website, including “zodiac healing work,” “alcohol balancing system” and an “aura cleanse.”

Less than a week before the murders, Johnson reportedly posted: “This eclipse is the epitome of spiritual warfare. Get your protection on and your heart in the right place. The world is very obviously changing right now and if you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now. Stay strong you got this.”

Police said homicide detectives discovered Chaney’s body at the couple’s apartment around 7:35 a.m. local time after a neighbor discovered their front door left open, hours after Johnson threw her children from her car and drove into the tree and killing herself.
