Here’s what an astrologer thinks of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie breakup

Opposites attract, so they say, but would you have ever thought of Brad and Angie as opposites? The two seemed made for each other, chiseled out of the same flawless stone, or cut from the same golden fabric. However, their astrological signs say otherwise.

ELLE’s resident astrologer Yasmin Boland weighed in on the couple’s lasting power, as told by the stars, and turns out the two are on polar sides of the universe.

Brad is a free-spirited Sagittarius and Angie a cerebral Gemini. According to the cosmos, the two had their work cut out for them.

Brad’s ruler is Pluto, as he was born December 18, 1963 in Oklahoma. Pluto demands transformation. According to Boland, “it can reinvent or eviscerate us. It can empower us or bring us to our knees.”

But for Brad, Saturn is also ascending right now. Apparently, this is a once-every-30-years occurrence and can result in cataclysmic amounts of energy.

“With angry Mars on his Sun when the divorce announcement was made, you can bet he is furious about the situation. There’s a strong chance he won’t go quietly into the night.”

Angelina, on the other hand, was born Venus Rising on the morning of June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. Uranus, the planet of chaos (that doesn’t sound good), has been strolling through her chart for the past few years, shaking things up.
Then, she’s also got Pluto in her Love Zone (also doesn’t sound good), creating massive power struggles, like a tug-of-war between two of the biggest personalities in the world.

But, Angie’s also got Saturn draining her energy, and the lady has probably just had it.

But, now that Mercury Retrograde is over, just as we all felt a little lift, Angie might, too. She’s the one who filed for divorce, but being a Gemini ruled by Mercury, there exists a tiny chance that she’ll change her mind.

But then, Brad, the free agent whether married or not, might just change his mind too. Only the planets know and they only talk in generalizations, so…
