Astoria FFA wins honors at state convention
The Astoria chapter of the National FFA Organization attended the Oregon FFA State Convention in Redmond and earned several high honors, including state superior chapter.
They also received a gold rating, making the Astoria chapter eligible to compete for national FFA ratings.
The Elite Eight finalist for Prepared Public Speaking was Sam Moss, who also was the Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship recipient. Jadyn Jasper was state champion for Agricultural Processing, and Signe Rickenbach was the state finalist for Specialty Animal Production.
