Assassin's Creed Unity Tells A "Complex, Emotional" Story

The story for Ubisoft's upcoming action game will be "complex" and "emotional," according to Dan Jeannotte, who plays protagonist Arno Dorian. He says it was the nature of the game's story (as well as Arno being a "badass") that drew him to the project in the first place.

"When I read the script, I was really impressed with the dedication to telling that kind of emotional story; to the commitment of the writer and Ubisoft in general to tell this kind of complex, emotional story," Jeannotte says in a. "It's not simple. It's not black and white."

Regarding the nature of his work for Assassin's Creed Unity, Jeannotte says it was "such a treat" to be able to wear a motion capture suit as a means to "really embody the character physically." This helped him deliver his lines better because he could "really feel who [Arno] was."
