New Asian food restaurant, bar opening in Lower Paxton Township

LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Freshido, an Asian food restaurant with multiple locations in Dauphin County, will soon be opening a new location in Lower Paxton Township.

Freshido Bar and Kitchen will open at Blue Ridge Village on Linglestown Road next to the new Cafe Fresco. Other businesses in the development include Shiny Shell Car Wash, Starbucks, and Tide Cleaners.

“We are thrilled to provide you with an immersive dine-in experience, an in-house bar, and extensive Modern-Pan Asian menu, and much more,” said the restaurant on social media.

New window advertisements were recently added to the new Freshido building. The restaurant says walls are up, floors are down, utilities are in place, and the framing for their bar is set up with construction continuing inside.

Freshido says they’ve recently hired Chef Louis Gushue, who has worked across the country specializing in Japanese street food, as their Executive Chef.

“Now, Chef Gushue shares his culinary passion with Freshido, where his experience and dedication for Asian cuisine brings our dishes to the next level. Chef Gushue and the Freshido team are proud to bring you the ultimate pan-Asian experience,” said Freshido in their Facebook announcement.

It’s not clear when the new Linglestown restaurant will open. Freshido currently operates restaurants on Market Street in Harrisburg, W. Chocolate Avenue in Hershey, Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, and at Fresh Market at Hershey Towne Square.
