Ashton Kutcher Sings Onstage With Thomas Rhett for a Good Cause

Ashton Kutcher may not be known for his vocals, but that didn’t stop him from taking the mic during Thomas Rhett’s performance of Garth Brooks’s “Friends in Low Places” on Saturday in Iowa City. The concert benefited the Native Fund — a charity Ashton co-founded with former NFL star Dallas Clark and which assists locals in need, just “Iowans Helping Iowans.”

“Ya’ll think Ashton Kutcher knows the words to the third verse?” Rhett asked the crowd. “The Hawkeyes got my back on this one,” Ashton responded while rocking a T-shirt with the state of Iowa emblazoned on it and a University of Iowa baseball cap. “One verse, one time, Iowa style.”

The boys belted out the tune and even chugged a beer together midperformance. “Thanks for helping me out @aplusk your hometown crowd in Iowa City brought the heat! #Kinnickstadium #Nativefund,” Thomas wrote on his Instagram page after the show. Meanwhile, Ashton shared a snap from his time on stage with the caption, “Love you Iowa.”
