Former President Donald Trump on Thursday read social media reactions to his New York hush money case, including that he was expecting “Ashton Kutcher” to say he had been “Punk’d.”

“The Human Events Editorial Board, ‘This case is a joke. Ashton Kutcher is going to pop it left to tell us that we've been Punk’d.’ I think I know what that means,” Trump said, while speaking to reporters outside trial in his hush money case. “The series of glorified legal pranks has seriously called into question the impartiality of the American justice system. Justice is blind, yet, unlike this case, justice is not dumb.”

Trump is charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records as part of a hush money scheme to bury stories of alleged extramarital affairs with adult film actress Stormy Daniels, that he feared could hurt his presidential campaign in 2016. He is the first former president to stand trial on criminal charges.
