Arrest after man suffers facial injuries in pub garden assault
A man has been arrested after another man suffered serious facial injuries in an assault.
Wiltshire Police said the victim, aged in his 40s, was assaulted in the pub garden of the Kings Arms, Trowbridge at around 23:50 BST on Saturday.
A man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody for questioning.
Police urged anyone who may have witnessed the assault or anyone who saw anything before the incident, to get in touch.
