Around Town: Shoppers descend on downtown Zeeland for Peddlers' Market
ZEELAND — Shoppers browsed and vendors sold during a busy Peddlers' Market in downtown Zeeland on Saturday, Sept. 10.
It was the city's eighth annual Peddlers' Market and the first-ever Little Peddlers' event, with "artfully curious" offerings on Church Street between Main Street and Central Avenue.
The market included handmade children's clothing and accessories, screen-printed clothing, art prints, flowers and botanicals, jewelry, household gifts and goods, vintage furniture, fresh bread, handcrafted furniture, live music, food trucks and antiques.

“This event has attracted a variety of vendors," said events coordinator Kerri VanDorp in a statement. "From brand new businesses to well established ones — even young entrepreneurs. New this year (was) the Little Peddlers’ Market, where little kids with big ideas can peddle their items. It’s a fresh open-air lifestyle market for all of your favorite things in one setting."
The market attracted over 60 vendors from around the region, and was sponsored by Back to Health Chiropractic.
