Armed suspect apprehended in Lochbuie

DENVER (KDVR) — Police were searching for an armed suspect who was last seen on foot near Erie Parkway and County Line Road. He has since been found.

Just after 9 a.m. on Friday, the Erie Police Department tweeted that officers were searching for a domestic violence suspect who was last seen on foot at 8 a.m.

Nearly 30 minutes later, police provided an update and said the suspect was apprehended in Lochbuie.

While police said they didn’t believe the suspect was a danger to the public, he was armed.

The suspect was described as:

White man
In his 20s
Wearing a black basketball jersey and shorts

Police have issued an all clear.

The Biden administration announced Monday that Polar Semiconductor will receive up to $120 million in federal funds to expand its chip manufacturing facility in Minnesota. The funding stems from the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which Biden signed into law in August 2022 to strengthen the U.S. supply of semiconductors. The expansion of Polar Semiconductor’s facility would enable the company to double its U.S. production capacity of sensor and power chips within two years, the U.S. Department of Commerce said in a press release.
