Arkansas Travelers gearing up for opening night ahead of total solar eclipse

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Travelers baseball team is gearing up for its opening night just days before the total solar eclipse.

Rusty Meeks joined KARK 4 Today to talk about the events planned as the team prepares to swing into the season.

Eclipse: These Arkansas cities offer the longest totality

The Travs are introducing a new uniform for this year’s eclipse. The jerseys will be auctioned off benefiting the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation.

The Arkansas Travelers will face the Springfield Cardinals Friday at Dickey–Stephens Park at 7:05 p.m.
