Arkansas gave us a laughably bad moment in its 24-17 loss to LSU on Saturday night.

Wide receiver Jordan Jones came in motion towards quarterback Ty Storey to catch a pop pass right after the snap. Running back Rakeem Boyd was lined up to Storey’s left and was supposed to cut in front of Storey to make the LSU defense think there was a possibility for a handoff.

As Boyd cut right he cut … right into the path of Jones just as the receiver caught the forward pitch from Storey. The impact sent both players tumbling to the ground.

It’s likely the most embarrassing pass completion you’ll see all season. How can it get worse than getting tackled by your own teammate behind the line of scrimmage?

The play sums up Arkansas’ season quite well, too. Jones’ reception is going to rank up there with North Texas’ fake fair-catch punt return on the list of Razorback lowlights in 2018.

The Razorbacks dropped to 2-8 and 0-6 in SEC play after Saturday’s game.
