Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett has declared for the NFL draft.

The junior led the Razorbacks to their first BCS bowl game this season, his second with Arkansas.

Mallett led the Southeastern Conference in passing this season, throwing for 3,592 yards and 30 touchdowns. He added to that in Arkansas' 31-26 loss to Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl, throwing for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The 6-foot-6 Mallett began his college career at Michigan before transferring to Arkansas after Rich Rodriguez was hired by the Wolverines. He threw 30 touchdowns in his first season for Arkansas, leading the school to an 8-5 finish and a win in the Liberty Bowl.

Mallett finishes as the school's career leader with 62 touchdown passes.
