Arkansas baseball score vs. Wright State: Live updates from weekend series
FAYETTEVILLE — No. 8 Arkansas baseball is playing its second weekend series of the season at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Razorbacks have a three-game series against Wright State, starting Friday.
Arkansas enters the weekend 6-2 after winning two of three games against Eastern Illinois last weekend. More recently, the Razorbacks beat Illinois State in walk-off fashion in 11 innings Wednesday.
The Raiders enter the matchup 2-5 after series losses to Hawaii and Kentucky.
The Razorbacks will start sophomore left-handed pitcher Hagen Smith (1-0, 0.00 ERA) on Friday, redshirt junior right-hander Will McEntire (1-0, 8.10) on Saturday and junior lefty Hunter Hollan (1-0, 2.79) on Sunday.
Wright State is starting right-hander Jake Shirk (1-1, 5.40) on Friday and lefty Sebastian Gongora (1-0, 1.80) Saturday. Right-hander Luke Stofel (0-1, 4.91) will start Sunday.
